Conference Venue
Welcome to the official webpage of the 5th International EFL Teachers’ Congress, organized by the Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages with Emphasis on English at Universidad de la Amazonia. This international academic event provides a space for educators, researchers, teacher trainees, and ELT professionals to come together and share innovative practices, research findings, and pedagogical reflections in the field of English Language Teaching.

This year, under the theme “ELT Reimagined: Navigating Language, Technology, and Humanity,” the congress explores how English language education is being transformed by technological innovation, intercultural communication, and the growing need for more human-centered learning environments. As artificial intelligence, digital platforms, and global connectivity continue to reshape education, this congress invites participants to critically reflect on the future of ELT and the role of teachers as agents of innovation, inclusion, and social transformation.

Throughout the event, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in keynote lectures, workshops, concurrent sessions, research presentations, and reflective discussions focused on contemporary challenges and opportunities in language education. The congress aims to foster academic dialogue, professional development, and international collaboration while promoting meaningful connections between theory, practice, technology, and humanity in ELT contexts.

We warmly invite you to join us in Florencia, Caquetá, Colombia, on September 24th–25th, 2026, in the heart of the Colombian Amazon, for an inspiring academic and cultural experience where language, innovation, and human connection converge to reimagine the future of English Language Teaching.
