PhD. Astrid Núñez-Pardo


PhD. Astrid Núñez-Pardo, is an associate researcher in the Master’s Programme in Education with emphasis on English Didactics at the School of Education, Universidad Externado de Colombia, Bogotá. She holds a PhD in Education Sciences from Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia, an MA in Education, a Specialisation in International Economics, and BA in Hotel and Tourism Business Management from Universidad Externado de Colombia, as well as a Diploma in Linguistic Studies from University of Essex, England, and in Child Right Classroom and School Management from Lund University, Sweden.
She has developed EFL materials for pre-school, secondary and university education and published articles in diverse indexed journals. Her research interests include coloniality in EFL textbooks, understanding EFL materials from a critical interculturality perspective, critically analysing cultural content in teacher generated EFL materials, among others. She has been a speaker at several national and international academic events and a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for How, Gist, Colombian Applied Linguistics Journal, and ENLETAWA Journals.
PhD. Dawn Wink


Dawn Wink, PhD, is a writer and educator whose work explores the beauty and tensions of language, culture, and place. Wink’s latest transdisciplinary work explores language through the lenses of wildness, beauty, and imagination. Wink’s dissertation explored stories at the transdisciplinary intersections of language, ecolinguistics, and linguistic human rights.
Author of Meadowlark, Teaching Passionately: What’s Love Got To Do With It?, co-written with Joan Wink, “Wild Waters: Landscapes of Language,” and “Language, Culture, and Land: Lenses of Likies, Wink works with language teachers around the world and presents regularly at international and national language and research conferences. Wink is Academic Director of the Department of Teacher Education at Santa Fe Community College and lives with her family in Santa Fe.
Mg. Jaime Ancajima


Jaime is a professor and teacher trainer at the Language Center and a literature, grammar, and classroom management professor at the School of Education at Universidad de Piura in Peru.
He holds a Bachelor Degree in Education, a TESOL Certificate from Saint Mary´s University, England, a Skills and Principles in Language Teacher Training Workshop Design, Observation and Feedback Certificate from Centro Espiral Mana, Costa Rica and an American Culture and Society Institute Certificate from New York University, USA. He has delivered face-to-face workshops and plenaries in Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, and Spain. He´s also presented online webinars and plenaries in Argentina, Bolivia, Mexico, India, The USA, Costa Rica, and Peru. He has run the International English Online Meetings since 2020 up to now.
PhD. Joshua James Zwisler

Dr. James Zwisler has a PhD in linguistics from Monash University, Australia, where he also did his Masters in Applied Linguistics. Currently, he is a tenured lecturer at the Universidad del Tolima in Ibagué, where he has taught for 9 years lecturing in linguistics, sociolinguistics, and semantics. He is also the director of the Tolingüística research group at the same university and is the editor of the scientific journal of the foreign languages area. He has also previously worked at the UCEVA in Valle del Cauca and Monash University in Australia and has done voluntary linguistic work with indigenous groups in the south of Tolima. His lines of research are sociolinguistic competence, regional Colombian sociolinguistics, linguistics pedagogy and language and identity.
Mg. Jovana Zivkovic


Jovana Živković holds a Master's degree in Pedagogy from the Universidad de Los Andes and a certificate in Language Program Management from Columbia University in the United States. With 10 years of experience as an English teacher at Universidad de Los Andes and over 7 years of experience as a senior educational consultant for the British Council, Jovana has designed training programs for over 2000 teachers from the Education Secretariat of Bogotá and led a large-scale online English program English without Borders for more than 20000 students. She has experience as an examiner for international exams and has led projects for developing materials and courses for students and teachers in Colombia and abroad. Her main interests lie in designing learning and teaching experiences that have a positive impact on learning outcomes.
